Room Description

Our Backpacker’s Lairs are hostel style, co-ed shared spaces with bunk beds and communal bathrooms. “The Lairs” offer an economical option that allows you to connect with fellow travelers and still have access to all of Cliffside’s amenities.

Our house rules to respect a guest’s personal space and be mindful of noise levels assures your ability to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Cliffside at a bargain price.

Three Separate Lairs, all with cliffside view:

Myna’s Lair – named after those funky-looking black Apo Myna birds, a rare species that can be found in Mount Kitanglad (will accommodate up to 6 people).

Pitta’s Lair – named after the Azure-breasted Pitta bird, an almost extinct species found only in Mindanao (8 people max).

Sunbird’s Lair – named after Apo Sunbird,  a rare endemic species seen only in Mindanao  and in tropical moist mountain forests above 1,500m sea level (7 people max).
