HISTORY AND LOCATION

Cliffside Glamping was our silver lining during the pandemic. 

After months of lockdown, we were rearing to get outdoors and remain physically active.  Cross-provincial travel restrictions made that difficult so we decided to camp three hours from where we live. 

It was on that camping trip in February 2021 that we woke up to this very cold countryside, lulled by the singing of the birds and the relaxing murmur of a river.  It was there that the idea of a campsite with exactly that experience was put together.

We would like to share a video clip of that trip, memories with people we care about.

We discovered Cliffside’s location by luck.  The construction is by grit. It was a challenge during the pandemic, but with the help of friends and family we were ready to open by January 2022.

The road to Cliffside is quite difficult, and that is only the start of your adventure.  When you reach our site, you will be greeted by a spectacular view of the river below and the cloud-bathed mountains beyond.
